  1. I discovered this media release on acc's website and reproduced it here hoping others will be saying the same as I am after reading the release https://www.acc.co.nz/about-us/news-media/latest-news/passing-of-the-accident-compensation-amendment-bill/ My question remains unanswered If a 65 year old decides to carry on in employment or decides to get back into employment at that grand age are they eligible to receive ACC ERC if injured while working (after the age of retirement - 65 is the age) https://www.acc.co.nz/about-us/news-media/latest-news/passing-of-the-accident-compensation-amendment-bill/ Simplifying transitions from weekly compensation for those nearing New Zealand Superannuation qualifying age ACC clients injured near to, or after retirement age will no longer have to choose between weekly compensation and New Zealand Superannuation or the Veterans’ Pension after receiving a year of both. They can now receive up to 24 months of weekly compensation and New Zealand Superannuation at the same time. I do not agree with this below Disestablishing the historic Accident Compensation Appeal Authority, with any new appeals being heard by the District Court
  2. Found this on Stuff. 5. Medicinal cannabis firm Cannasouth plans NZX listing with $10 million IPO https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/industries/112824412/medicinal-cannabis-firm-cannasouth-plans-nzx-listing-with-10-million-ipo Well anyway, I'll certainly be saving all my pocket money for the next few weeks and maybe have enough saved to get a share or two if they;re reasonably priced. Anyone else willing to consider investing in shares when available?

    Christchurch Terror attack & ACC

https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/christchurch-shooting/112760245/muslim-group-funding-homes-trips-to-mecca-for-christchurch-mosque-shooting-victims Payments from Work and Income (WINZ), ACC, and IRD "leave her with less than half what the family earned before." There is also the $10 million plus Victim's Support got from the Give a little appeal. So who is getting help from Victim's Support? Sounds like no-one is!
  7. When I was a member of the accforum dot org I came upon a number of posts regarding a number of previous database errors that that forum had experienced over the years. It made sense what I had read. Hundreds of members posts have been deleted over the last year or so since that "Auckland Blogger" was sentenced to 10 months home detention for Criminal Harassment. Was there a connection between the alleged owner of that now defunct forum, Alan Thomas, and the "Auckland Blogger"? Well, my opinion is that all the alleged evidence has just been destroyed - database error

German chancellor Angela Merkel says "When-ever Alan Thomas over at the accforum dot org doesn't like what another member has written in an attempt to help him appeal his acc fraud conviction he moves the thread from public view and into members only section!!" German chancellor Angela Merkel goes on and says "Why would he do that?"

    Christchurch Terror attack & ACC

Good morning Abdul What should the New Zealand ACC be providing? Thank you for asking the question in your first post above. Moments ago I was just a visitor here and after reading your post I quickly registered as a member so I could get involved. I'm hoping more people, including the New Zealand and International Media organisations will get involved. I read this story in the Stuff Media site yesterday Victim Support announces plans for remaining $7m for Christchurch terror victims Charlie Gates12:43, May 10 2019 https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/christchurch-shooting/112599823/victim-support-to-announce-plans-for-remaining-7m-for-christchurch-terror-victims I have yet to find anything in the media as to what the NZ ACC are doing to assist everyone that were and still are very much effected. Does anyone know? How about NZ ACC, can your media person join and post here what involvement ACC have had so far and what is there in the future for everyone/anyone effected by the events in Christchurch?
