    WTF

How disgusting, as a victim/survivor it is a life long sentence. It is not a sentence for anything we have done wrong, but we are wronged anyway.

Just on the subject of complaints I remember lodging an official complaint about AON with the then Minister for ACC Labour's Ruth Dyson - her then Private ACC Secretary Judy Dearsley wrote to me and advised me that my complaint about AON had been referred to AON for investigating! I think that was around 2002/3 time-frame. IN a nutshell they said everything was hunky dory! What else could they say? It certainly wouldn't be Yes, we did contact all the Reporting Specialist etc because we need to exit this claimant because we have already told ACC that we have successfully exited him because he has been found to have a work capacity of 30 or more hours a week. It is my Opinion that AON NZ were very dishonest when case managing long term ACC claimants files between 1999 and 2003/4 ish. ACC and all it's nooks and crannies should be investigated with public submissions etc. I'm sure there are thousands of us who would have something to say about the ACC ... and in my case also AON!

It's sad to see that they are still using the same wording used way back years ago!
  6. From STUFF Official information denied as government agencies illegally refuse OIA request transfers, document shows https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/114510152/official-information-denied-as-government-agencies-illegally-refuse-oia-request-transfers-document-shows I am aware of many people/ACC claimants/ACC advocates etc who have been denied information under the OIA by ACC. Would like to hear from anyone that has lodged an OIA request with the ACC and or Fairway who have received an extension of time request from the ACC and or Fairway by return mail/email? It is not uncommon for ACC to ask for money as like in the above quite. I have in the past been fobbed off by the ACC with the following when requesting information from the ACC under the OIA Request Denied - Commercially Sensitive In the early 2000's I requested from the ACC all internal memo's sent between the ACC and AON in relation to the case management of one of my injury files/claims between 2000 and 2003/4 It was a long time ago but I seem to remember an inhouse ACC lawyer by the name of Sandra Mechin responding that the information requested under the OIA was commercially sensitive blah blah blah! Anything to do with the management of my injury file should be out in the open. Because ACC refused to provide those memo's it proves that the then AON case manager Leanne McDonnell was merely a puppet for the ACC! ACC had to follow the rules AON being a 3rd Party case management service provider to the ACC had no rules. I may request that info again.
  7. Pretty much the standard reply now is: (yep I acknowledge I am a problem child for them but they need it). I had one complaint that was passed on to Team Manager, the complaint was closed down by Resolutions and no one got back to me at all. I emailed 5-6 weeks later to find out what was going on and it was toxic and downhill from there. When I got my files I also got a copy of the Complaints form showing it had been closed down once it had been passed on. So what is the point of Resolutions? Is it part of Code of Claimants rights and if it is ignoring complaints what then?

    Code of Claimants Rights

And of course if you use the Code of Claimants rights there is then no review process through the Courts of "their" decision(s).

The same person (on that other forum) is a great example of a genuine 100% pure narcissist! I was a member of that "other forum" until I got totally pissed off with the crap/bullshit that was being published so came here and signed up using a new user-name. Some other ex members of that site are here as well and I guess more and more will do so as time goes on. The crap still goes on over there big time and I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Police/Court shuts his excrement forum down soon! He might even attract another criminal conviction to add to his CV!

    ANOTHER REVIEW COMING

Once anyone lodges their first injury claim with the ACC it becomes a total nightmare for most everyone! If the injury is "sweet and simple" ie a cut finger then ACC will love you. If the injury is an actual injury, like your Lower Back, then they go out of their way to fuck you around in the hope that you'll just walk away and leave them alone!

If John Millar has your back, then you are in good hands, don't stress too much, this is just the game they play, from what I have learnt since being on the coast, is that Christina seems to be their chief attack dog. Recently promoted, that is the reason she gave me for leaving me.

Gothca, it is not a good idea to post personal info on sites like this, this site is a lot more secure than the other one, but there is a chance ACC could put a mole in here, not likely but possible, you need to bare that in mind. will let you know when I am coming down.

Mate, hang in there bro. I know what you are going through. I live in Westport and I am on claim, I am in a similar situation to you but somewhat more able I suspect. If you need someone to talk to, or support in just getting through, let me know. I have been fighting ACC for one thing or another for about thirty years, I have a very good support network of fellow claimants, and if you need any help at all I am here for you bro.
